Winter Story

When white snow starts to fall, I think of you,
Our love was pure, just like the very first snow.
The cold wind brushes by with only memories,
Yet in my heart, the warmth still softly glows.
That winter night, the footsteps we left on that street,
Even if they fade, your trace stays inside of me.
In the longing that piles like falling snow,
Today again, I walk that path alone.
When the light in the window trembles in the night,
I see your smile returning in my mind.
Those hands that once held me so warm and tight,
Now scatter gently, like snowflakes in the sky.
